Senior Lawyer

With 22 years in the legal field and 17 years predominantly in family law, Charmain offers technical advice and brings a unique perspective to family law, having navigated Family Law Court proceedings personally as a parent. Charmain understands the high stakes, the sleepless nights, and the emotional weight of parenting disputes.

She has been successful in guiding clients through simple amicable separations to clients whose separations and property holdings are messy and complex. Her experience and personal insight, combined with a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) and a background in Accounting, allow her to provide empathetic but pragmatic, "real-world" solutions to property and parenting matters that other practitioners might overlook.

Qualifications & expertise: Juris Doctor (University of Melbourne); Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Australian National University); admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court in October 2005; Master of Applied Law (Family Law); Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
